چکیده

Wire line infrastructures can be considerably more expensive and time consuming to deploy than a wireless one. In addition, rural areas and developing countries frequently lack optical fiber or copper-wire infrastructures for broadband services and providers are unwilling to install the necessary equipment for regions with little profit potential. Wireless approaches could address this problem. Wireless communication poses special problems that do not exist in wired networks, such as time varying channel capacity and location dependent errors. The work

Assessment of DSACC and QPART Algorithms in Ad Hoc Networks

The rapid advancement in wireless over wired has augmented the need for improving theQuality of Service (QoS) over such wireless links. However, the wireless ad hoc networkshave too low bandwidth, and establishing a QoS in these networks is a difficult issue. So,support of quality of service in ad hoc networks is the topical issue among the networkscience researchers. In this research we are go...

ارزیابی سیاست‌های زمان‌بندی در نسل چهارم شبکه‌های سلولی (LTE)

New generation of wireless networks, LTE and WiMAX, supports many services which consume a lot of resources (such as VOIP, Video Conference, Digital Video, Multimedia streams and online Multi-player Games). Supporting multi-media services in wireless communication systems provide new resource allocation challenges. Because of high loads in downlink, efficient resource allocation is vital in dow...

Quality of service supporting downlink scheduling scheme in worldwide interoperability for microwave access wireless access systems

IEEE 802.16 is a standardisation for a broadband wireless access in metropolitan area networks (MAN). Since the IEEE 802.16 standard defines the concrete quality of service (QoS) requirement, a scheduling scheme is necessary to achieve the QoS requirement. Many scheduling schemes are proposed with the purpose of throughput optimisation and fairness enhancement, however, few scheduling schemes s...

Multiple Downlink Fair Packet Scheduling Scheme in Wi-Max

IEEE 802.16 is standardization for a broadband wireless access in network metropolitan area network (MAN). IEEE 802.16 standard (Wi-Max) defines the concrete quality of service (QoS) requirement, a scheduling scheme and efficient packet scheduling scheme which is necessary to achieve the QoS requirement. In this paper, a novel waiting queue based on downlink bandwidth allocation architecture fr...
